A Grade II listed building in Islington was a demanding project as it entailed close liaison with the Conservations Officer. Many of the original details were retained and brought back to their former glory including many existing doors; plasterwork to the ground and first floors; the staircase, balustrade and handrails. New bathrooms were installed with minimum impact on the existing fabric together with a new kitchen on the ground floor. The basement was water proofed and tanked and new underfloor heating system laid which heats the upper floors from below.
