Our aim is to provide informative and reliable advise to our clients at the very early stages of a project to achieve realistic and achievable Planning Consents.
We have worked with many planning authorities in Greater London and the Home Counties and deal with the needs, demands and policies which satisfy the local area and communities.
With new Government legislation continuously being implemented to meet both local and national concerns, it is no wonder that Local Planning Authorities have found it difficult to keep up and reflect these changes in their own local policies. Local authority policies which satisfy local communities may in some instances contradict Government policies, and we endeavour to identify and rationalise these contradictions at an early stage, to avoid disappointment and wasted resources.
The new ‘National Planning Policy Framework’ (NPPF) has been introduced and provides all Local Authorities with a set of standard policies and guidelines, under one umbrella, which all Planning departments can adopt and develop to better serve their own local communities.
With Government targets for carbon emissions & energy conservation the fabric of new buildings is quite different and more complex than ever before. Planning applications now reflect these issues and as a consequence have become much more demanding in content and context.
Project Management
