This small rural building was conceived as a ‘dream house’ for Chanda by her husband Sunder. Located on a ridge over looking the Kumbalgarh pass it commands panoramic views in every direction. Built of stone in a rugged landscape it reflects pure ‘vastu’ in layout and design. The works, directed from under canvas, took a year to complete, and as luck would have it pure sweet water was found at 120m and is pumped up the hill into a tank located at the highest point in the north west tower. Save for the sound of beasts and birds this is truly an out of the way dream home.
